Shipping & batches.

Everything we make is rendered, jarred, and labeled by the three of us in Houston. We hand it off to USPS in town, and from there it follows the same rural mail routes everyone in the Mat-Su Valley knows by heart. Here is what to expect.

How long it takes us to put your order in the mail.

Orders ship from Houston, Alaska within five business days of when you place them. Most ship the next morning. The five-day window is there because we sometimes we get busy. You'll get a tracking email the moment the package leaves our hands.

Free shipping over $100.

Orders subtotaling more than one hundred dollars ship free, anywhere in the United States. Below that we charge a flat USPS Priority rate at checkout; we don't pad it. The number you see is the number the post office charges us. Email us before order for international shipping options.

Tracking, once it ships.

The shipping confirmation email contains a USPS tracking number that updates every time the package is scanned along the route. The first scan happens when our local post office in Houston accepts the parcel; subsequent scans happen at the Anchorage sorting facility, the destination state, the destination city, and the carrier's truck on the morning of delivery. If a scan goes quiet for more than three days, the package isn't lost (it's almost always between two scans on a long route) but write to us and we'll make sure.

Have a question we didn't answer? Write to us. We read every message ourselves.
